Smoothie bowls


Who isn’t looking for an excuse to add delicious toppings to something extremely healthy and nourishing. Smoothie bowls are a fun and modern spin to boring smoothies. They are thick, nutrient rich and super appetising. These completely natural recipes will leave you wanting more. They are filled with antioxidants, help muscle recovery and boost your gut health.

“Berry blast” (vegan)

For the smoothie-

Toss the following ingredients into a blender until smooth

  • 1 large frozen banana

  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberry

  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberry

  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberry

  • 1/4th cup almond milk

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)

Toppings-

  • Thinly sliced banana

  • Chia seeds

  • Crunchy Granola

  • Almonds & Almond butter

  • Sunflower seeds

  • A drizzle of honey

“Tropic like it’s hot”

For the smoothie-

Toss the following ingredients into a blender until smooth

  • 1-2 frozen mangoes

  • 2 thick Pineapple slices

  • Vanilla or regular greek yogurt

  • Few cubes of ice

Toppings-

  • Crunchy Granola

  • Peach wedges

  • Kiwi slices

  • Almond butter

  • Chia seeds

  • A drizzle of honey (optional)

These smoothie bowls are best served fresh and can be enjoyed for any meal or snack. Feel free to experiment with toppings as you can hardly go wrong. They are a substantial and refreshing meal to enjoy.
